  1.   1. INSTALLATION
  2.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  3.   The following files should be stored on a directory in your path.  The
  4.   Windows directory is recommended:
  5.      CTL3D.DLL
  6.      SUPERTM.EXE
  7.      SUPERTM.HLP
  8.  
  9.   Super Task Man is designed as a replacement to Windows' Task Manager.
  10.   In order to provide all users the option of replacing the current
  11.   TASKMAN.EXE with SUPERTM.EXE, two methods are provided to setup
  12.   SUPERTM.EXE to replace TASKMAN.EXE.

  14.   Method 1
  15.   --------
  16.   1) Run SUPERTM.EXE from Program Manager or File Manager by selecting
  17.      RUN from the FILE menu (this may be the last time you will ever
  18.      do this again).
  19.   2) Click on the Control Menu located on the top left part of the
  20.      Super Task Man window and select About Super Task Man...
  21.   3) Click on the Replace TASKMAN.EXE check box in the about box.
  22.   4) Click on the OK button in the About dialog box.
  23.   5) Select Exit Windows from the File Menu
  24.   6) Click on the Restart Windows button
  25.   7) Windows will be restarted automatically.  Once Windows is
  26.      restarted, you can access Super Task Man by double-clicking
  27.      on the desktop or pressing Ctrl-Esc on the keyboard.
  28.      Note: make sure Super Task Man is stored in a directory on
  29.            the path or it will not run.

  31.   Method 2
  32.   --------
  33.   1) Edit SYSTEM.INI located in your Windows directory with a text
  34.      editor.
  35.   2) Under the section labeled [boot] add the following line
  36.      TASKMAN.EXE=SUPERTM.EXE
  37.   3) Save the changes to SYSTEM.INI
  38.   4) Exit and restart Windows

  41.   2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  42.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  43.   Super Task Man is currently only supported under Windows 3.1 due to
  44.   some of the Windows 3.1 undocumented features that Super Task Man
  45.   Uses. If the authors determine that the demand for a 3.0 version is
  46.   warranted, then a version to support 3.0 will also be released.
